Why we love Zion
“Our boys have been attending Zion Lutheran since 2008, they are in 5th and 6th grade now. ..Excellent leadership starts from the top. The Principal is filled with the spirit of Christ-like behavior, their leadership is with a calm demeanor who believes in teaching the child the same when a disciplinary action needs to take place. They have high expectations of their staff and as a result you have excellent, loving, caring and attentive teachers. Your child will be taught as a whole body rather than just being taught to take standardized testing. Thank you Zion for all that you’ve done for our family.”
“We love the teachers, staff and principal at ZLS. They’re great people and educators and genuinely care for each child. Hands on learning, field trips, music, drama, and small class sizes! So many good things to say about Zion, it’s like our second family.”
“We are a military family and, as such, move rather frequently. Trust me when I say we have enough experience with different schools to be able to give a fair review here. Let me just say that THIS is the school to compare all others to. They just do it right: from the drop-off and pickup process, to the curriculum, to providing extra help or an extra challenge where it’s needed, to extra-curriculars and activities (the Auction is the best!) and sports (dance team, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and more!), to the music and productions, to the DELICIOUS hot lunches, to the way the staff and teachers genuinely LOVE the children and LOVE their jobs.”
I Take Care of Myself
Our school is built around the core value of responsibility and care, rooted in our Christian faith. We teach students to honor God by taking care of themselves—nurturing their bodies, minds, and spirits.
I Take Care of Others
We encourage students to take care of others—showing love, kindness, and respect to everyone they meet. This fosters a culture of compassion and empathy within our community.
I Take Care of This Place
We instill a sense of stewardship for the environment and community—understanding that every place we inhabit is a gift from God to be valued and protected. This teaches students the importance of community involvement.
